Audiology Services/Hearing Aids

An Audiologist is the professional who specializes in the evaluation of people with hearing and other ear related disorders.  Audiologists evaluate infants, children and adults. An audiologist is trained to refer patients to a physician when a hearing problem needs medical or surgical intervention, administers tests of balance to evaluate dizziness, and to recommend and dispense hearing aids. Audiologists hold masters or doctoral degrees from accredited universities with special training in the prevention, identification, assessment and non-medical treatment of hearing disorders.
